My Diabetic Pet is not a veterinary service, and we are not veterinarians. Nothing provided through the website or app is intended to replace professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult your veterinarian before making decisions about your pet’s care, treatment, insulin dosage, medication, or diet.
If you believe your pet may require urgent medical attention, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary service.
My Diabetic Pet is a record-keeping tool that helps you record, organize, and review information about your pet, including blood glucose readings, insulin doses, notes, and other information you choose to enter.
The app does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not calculate, recommend, prescribe, or adjust insulin doses, medication, diet, or any other aspect of your pet’s care.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter and for decisions made based on that information.
Charts, glucose curves, summaries, and other features are provided only to help you maintain and review your own records. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for your judgment or your veterinarian’s guidance.
Do not rely on the app, its reminders, or its notifications as your sole method for determining when to administer insulin, medication, food, or other treatment.
You retain ownership of the information you enter into My Diabetic Pet.
The app may allow you to share access to your pet’s records with family members, caregivers, pet sitters, or other people you choose. You are responsible for deciding whom you trust with access to those records.
People you authorize may be able to view, add, edit, or otherwise interact with information in the app depending on the permissions available to them.
You are responsible for reviewing your pet’s records and confirming that information entered by you or by another authorized user is accurate before relying on it.
Our Privacy Policy provides more information about how data is stored, synced, backed up, and handled.
You are welcome to read, share, and link to content on our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unless otherwise permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or distribute our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
The My Diabetic Pet name, branding, website content, graphics, and other materials we create remain our property or the property of their respective owners.
My Diabetic Pet relies on or may interact with services provided by third parties, including Apple and iCloud.
We do not control those services and cannot guarantee their availability, performance, security, or continued operation.
Our website or app may also contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, privacy practices, or availability of those third parties.
We aim to make My Diabetic Pet reliable and to protect your records, but no software, device, storage system, synchronization service, or backup system is completely immune from errors or failure.

We also do not guarantee that any record, chart, glucose curve, calculation, summary, synchronization, backup, or displayed value will always be accurate, complete, saved successfully, or delivered at a particular time.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to our website, services, or app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us during the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $50.

Some features of My Diabetic Pet require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
We do not directly process App Store payments or issue App Store refunds.
Your access to paid features may depend on the subscription status made available to the app by Apple.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms here and revise the “Last Updated” date.
If we make a material change, we may also provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of our services after updated Terms take effect means that the updated Terms will apply, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws, disputes relating to these Terms will be handled by the courts of Ontario, Canada.
