How do I add a reading?‍

Tap the + button on the main screen, enter your dog’s blood glucose and any other details, then save. You can add readings at any time.

Can I edit or delete a reading?

Yes. Tap any reading to edit it. To delete a reading, swipe left on it in the list.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on your device. We do not have access to your readings unless you choose to share them.

What if I enter something incorrectly?

No problem — you can edit any reading at any time. Just tap the entry and update the values.

Is this app a replacement for veterinary advice?

No! My Diabetic Pet is a tracking tool only. Always consult your veterinarian for guidance on your pet’s care.

Can I use this app for cats?

Right now, My Diabetic Pet is designed for dogs. Support for other pets may be added in the future.

Will my data be backed up?

Your data is stored on your device. Backup behavior depends on your device settings (such as iCloud backups). You can use "Export" in Settings if you'd like to make a backup of your data or share it with your veterinarian.

How do I import data?

Use the "Import" feature in Settings. Your data must be in a format identical to that of the file generated using the "Export" feature.
