Inspired by our own experience

My Diabetic Pet was inspired by our journey managing diabetes in our dog, Parker.

After years of handwritten notes, spreadsheets, glucose curves, and daily routines, we wanted something calmer, simpler, and easier to live with.

So we made the app we wished existed.

Our diabetic dog, Parker, smiling. He inspired us to create My Diabetic Pet.

Built to reduce friction, not add more of it

We're targeting early summer, 2026.

What platforms will the app be available on?

To start, iPhones with iOS 26 are required.

Where is my dog's data stored?

Your data is stored on your device, and if enabled, syncronized between devices via iCloud.

Can two people log readings for the same dog?

Yes. Just share the dog with a fellow caregiver and grant the appropriate access: full or log-only.

Is this app a replacement for veterinary advice?

No! My Diabetic Pet is a tracking tool only. Always consult your veterinarian for guidance on your pet’s care.

Data is stored on your device, and when enabled, syncronized across devices with iCloud. Every day, your dog's data is backed up and available to download. You can also use "Export" in Settings if you'd like to make a backup of your dog's data at any moment or share it with your veterinarian.

Will I be able to import data?

Use the "Import" feature in Settings. Your data must be in a format identical to that of the file generated using the "Export" feature.
